La chaise

Sometimes my place looks real cosy with extra furniture items that don't belong to me. At times perhaps, a little over-crowded. But I am glad since the real owners are kind enough to take the trouble to send the big items for me to paint and collect them as soon as they are ready. It amazes me sometimes to learn how the big items are creatively delivered, especially those that have to travel hundreds of kilometeres from home to get a new look. Obviously their owners care enough about them to make such an effort. Consciously or unconsciously, I too, care about them when I paint them.
